Dan Taveras is a Brooklyn-based indie rock musician with a knack for melody and soaring guitar leads. Sprouting from the ashes of various New York City bands, Dan worked in the shadows for six years, before emerging with a double concept album about “Life, Death, and Love.”

“A Long Way From Unpleasant” is a double album entirely written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Dan Taveras that follows the journey of a forlorn protagonist crashing against the tides of humanity and breaking through to the afterlife.
